Die vorherige Version des Smooth Operator hatte ein Stonewash-Finish und ein schwarzes Ultem-Innenteil für ein „geschmeidiges“ Schreiberlebnis (mit gelegentlichen Rissen hier und da). Diesmal konzentriert sich Tactile Turn mit einem langlebigen Bolt-Action-Mechanismus ganz aus Metall auf den „Operator“-Teil dieses Stifts.
