Padded Waist Belt
ATD1 and ATD2 backpacks come with a removable 25 mm hip belt to stabilize carry during active use, but some users need a full-size, padded waist belt to actually bear the load and transfer its weight to the hips.
This padded waist belt is intended to be used with ATD1 and ATD2 backpacks.
To mount the belt on your ATD1 or ATD2, follow these steps:
- Unroll excess webbing in the pack's included webbing belt and remove the buckle
- Install the padded belt behind the lumbar loop of the pack
- Slide the 1' webbing in the ladder locks on each side of the padded belt and pull to create tension
- Manage the excess webbing and get out to explore
